There are mainly two international cricket stadiums in Balochistan. Ayub National Stadium and Bugti Stadium. Both are located in the city of Quetta. International matches are played in these stadiums, while only domestic and league matches have been played in the Gwadar Cricket Stadium so far.
Very few international matches have been held in Balochistan so far. No international cricket match has been played here since 1996. A total of three ODIs have been played at Ayub and Bugti Stadium. The Indian team has also played ODIs in these stadiums. However, there has been no match since 1996.
The Indian team has played two ODIs in Balochistan. The first match was against Pakistan on 1 October 1978 at the Ayub Stadium, in which Team India, captained by Bishan Singh Bedi, won by 4 runs. The second ODI was played by the Indian team on 12 October 1984 at the same stadium, in which Pakistan won by 46 runs. Also, on 30 October 1996, there was an ODI match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe at the Bugti Stadium, in which Pakistan won by 3 wickets. This match was the last international cricket match held in Balochistan.
